Q: HOW DO I INSTALL / UPDATE THE SOFTWARE?
To install; please select 'Download Now' and run the installation wizard. Installation should take less than a minute. Following that, you will be able to access Empolo from your desktop. You can choose to one of Empolo's three subscription levels from within the program. All updates are detected automatically upon program startup - so you'll never be left behind without the latest version.
Q: WHAT ARE THE GENERAL REQUIREMENTS TO RUN EMPOLO?
Empolo is a Windows Application;. you must have Flash Player 8 or higher installed in order for Empolo to operate correctly. An internet connection is also required for functionality; the faster the better. There are no current plans to release a MAC or Linux version of Empolo; although all Viewers work correctly in browsers on these systems as long as your clients have a basic version of Flash Player installed (typically 8 and above). This is highly common so accessibility should not be a problem.
Q: CAN I INSTALL IT ON MULTIPLE COMPUTERS?
Yes! Your username and password will allow you to login and run Empolo no matter what computer you are working from. Just download, install, and login; you'll be up and running in no time.
Q: ARE THERE ANY TUTORIALS AVAILABLE?
There are in-program help boxes that should answer any concerns about basic usage of Empolo. The more you work in it the faster you'll pick it up - Empolo is rather user friendly. We will shortly be providing video tutorials on the more complex features - such as Themebuilder, in the meantime we've provided several themes to get you started!
Q: I've noticed a bug or have a feature/media element request
Please feel free to contact us with your bugs or feature requests. We will attempt to provide updates to correct all known bugs as soon as we can - feature requests will also be taken into note for future updates. If you wish to request custom multimedia elements for use if your viewers, please also send us an email. If your request is common enough for others to want to use also, we may decide to create it and add it to our Empolo datacenter for use in your themes.
Q: IS THERE A TRIAL AVAILABLE?
Empolo does not currently offer a trial period - although we will give you your money back if you decide you do not wish to use the program within your first month of subscription.
Q: who made this program - and how is it any different from other project management software applications?
Empolo was created by a small company located in Central Florida, called 'Small Island Productions'. Empolo spent almost a year in production in order to create a client web-interfacing tool. Most project management applications work to help you stay organized as a business, whereas Empolo focuses on what the client sees; creating a full dynamic flash website that can really blow your clients away. This helps enforce your company branding, get paid faster online, send messages back and forth, pull back more return clients, and ultimately increase the overall web prescence of your business!
Q: WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN THE THREE VERSIONS?
